Ernest Wong, a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Accountants in UK and a Member of the Malaysian Association of Certified Coaches.
Ernest today runs his own Human Resource Software Solutions business, together with his partner. A Chartered Accountant by training, he has worked with Ernst & Young and More Group PLC UK. He has also with periods in between of 1997 – current, held positions of a CEO Outdoor Advertising business (More Group Taiwan); COO, Advance Enterprise Thailand – a hotel and leisure business; Founder, Nilai Cancer Hospital; CEO, Neoncrafts Sdn Bhd – a neon and outdoor fabrication business; Partner, Talk Talk Sdn Bhd – a voice-over-internet-protocol (VOIP) business and COO, Quel International Sdn Bhd – Furniture business and Partner, PeopleQuest Sdn Bhd – HRMS Software.
His HRMS Software business today sees him getting involved in helping clients automate and transform their Human Resource requirements into world class HR best practices. The Enterprise solutions of PeopleQuest HRMS accord the clients a complete suite of modules that caters to the essential HR needs like Payroll, Leave, Claims, Benefits, Time Attendance, Performance, Dashboards, Training, as well as Human Resource planning, Talent Management & Development and a powerful ReportWriter.
In 1997 he co-founded the Nilai Cancer Hospital with the then cutting-edge medical technology “Sheep Mono-Clone Anti-body” , together with Dr Kim Tan and PK Resources Bhd. Established the start-up with only the “ Sheep Mono-Clone Antibody” technology and business plan into a Ringgit Malaysia Thirty Million ( RM 30,000,000/= ) valuation. Selling 33% to PK Resources for Ringgit Malaysia Ten Million (RM 10,000,000/= ).
More Taiwan Limited, Neoncrafts Sdn Bhd and Talk Talk Sdn Bhd were all successful start-ups by Ernest. In 1990, he resigned from More Taiwan when he was head-hunted by Advance Enterprise Thailand. Later Neoncrafts and Talk Talk were both sold.
