Jeff Cheah is a member of International Coach Federation (ICF) and is currently the President (2018 – 2020) of ICF Malaysia Chapter. He is a Certified Master Performance Coach (CMPC endorsed by ICF) as well as an Associate Coach with Marshall Goldsmith Stakeholder-Centered Coaching. He is certified in 360 Feedback System, Thomas International DISC tools, VIP24 psychometric tools, Harrisons Assessments and an HRDF-certified Trainer. He graduated from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang (USM) with a Bachelor of Science (Hons) degree majoring in Mathematics in 1979.
Jeff started his career in NCR Corporation and IBM and 10 years later, started his own business in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) & Financial/Treasury Solutions. Over the last 30 years, he has held various Senior Management positions in companies. In 2012, he was certified as an Executive Coach & Facilitator for Leadership and Coaching programs. Jeff makes the most of his 30 years of leadership & management experience to help Leaders succeed. He has coached over 350 C-Suites & Managers over the last 7 years and has facilitated over 80 Leadership & Coaching workshops for Corporates, Financial Institutions, SMI’s/SME’s, GLC’s & Government Agencies.
As an Executive Leadership Coach, he has made Leaders aware that a shift or change in their behaviour can result in positive business outcomes. He has also explored ideas and thoughts that Leaders can immediately put into action that can result in employees be more loyal and committed. He personally believes that every Leader needs a Coach and a Mentor to guide them thru the challenges. A leader with a will to learn and possess strong learning agility will be able to meet the challenges of managing in the 21st century.
Jeff plays badminton twice a week and golf when he finds time. He considers himself a work-in-progress and enjoys reading & spending time in bookshops. He is active member of Lions Club as a Leadership Trainer and have served as Club President & District Chairperson for Leadership Development.
