Kwong Lok Wah is an experienced Life, Leadership and Business Coach, who coaches Business Owner Enteprenerurs, CEOs, Preofessional Managers as well as their key executives in developing their leadership and business skills, as well as to help them where necessary to overcome self-limiting beliefs, and adopt particular mind-sets & behavioural skill-sets that will enable them to grow and in the process add value to their respevtive organisaitons and businesses.
Lok Wah is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England & Wales, a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants, and a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants, graduated with an Honours Degree from the University of Malaya, Kuala Lumpur in 1966 in Economics and Linguistics. Between 1984 to 1989 Lok Wah was Principal of the Consulting Division of Ernst and Whinney (now known as Ernst and Young) to head the consulting division in Malaysia.
Lok Wah today runs his own Management Consulting practice, and has been in the consulting profession for over 40 years, with periods in between of holding positions of a CEO in a Latex Glove business (Super Latex Sdn Bhd / Superior Gloves Sdn Bhd); Deputy Managing Director, Strategic Planning. His specialities include turnaround workouts with financially distressed businesses, corporate and financial restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, due diligence reviews, share valuations, detailed reviews of internal control systems, project feasibility studies, the sourcing of private equity and venture capital for new ventures, advising on shareholder agreements and joint-venture set-ups.
In 2009, he completed a project as the Principal Consultant in a project commissioned by the World Bank to review 13 State Owned Enterprises of the Lao Peoples’ Democratic Republic (Government of Laos) to develop generic reform and business development strategies for the said State Owned Enterprises.
