Michael Oh Hong Choon
Michael Oh Hong Choon having graduated with double honours in Economics and History from University of Malaya embarked upon a distinguished career as Divisional Director, Malaysian Industrial Development Authority (MIDA) and subsequently moved into private sector in financial services, investment banking and top management in reputable leading Malaysian Corporations viz Hong Leong Group, Malayan United Industries/Banking Group and as Chief Advisor, Asia Pacific to NZI Securities Limited, McKinney Rogers International Ltd, and BHF Bank AG Zurich.
Michael Oh currently is a distinguished Vistage Chair and CEO Coach since 2005 having a successful track record of creating the Vistage CEO-19 Group with a diverse group of international CEOs and expatriates and Malaysian CEOs of leading multinational and Malaysian corporations.
He is a Certified Master Coach (CMC) by Behavioral Coaching Institute an ICF Certified Coach of Coach Masters Academy and a Certified HRDF Train the Trainer. Besides his coaching credentials, he has served as a Board Director of PLC Companies in Malaysia and Hong Kong including as a Member of the Audit Committee, Nomination Committee and Remuneration Committee. In recognition of his vast experience in corporate governance he was appointed to the Faculty of the Malaysian Alliance of Corporate Directors and elected to the Board. In 1991, he was awarded the Freeman of the City of London, United Kingdom by the Lord Mayor.
