A Shell Scholar, Victor graduated as a Mechanical Engineer and holds a MSc from Imperial College, London University in Operations Research and Business Management.
Over 30 years, key senior managerial positions he held in Shell were: Sales Manager, Training & Development Manager, Employee & Industrial Relations Manager, HR Recruitment, C & B, Manpower Development & Planning Manager, HR Policy & Strategic Planning Manager – Corporate, General Manager, Shell Asia Pacific: Leadership & Management Development (Shell Coaching Programme trainer: 4 years in Asia Pacific).
His experience in training design and delivery in several programmes has been extensive both in and outside Shell. He crafted a Training Map for Shell which was subsequently used worldwide. He was on the faculty of 4 MBA programmes and has delivered several Papers at HR Conferences.
In the facilitating & coaching area of executive development, Victor has coached and trained several executives, managers and senior managers (and some Directors) from large Malaysian companies including multinationals: Shell, Tractors & Sime Darby, BASF, Petronas, BASF, Chemical Co of Malaysia, UEM, TM, Ambank, FELDA, Proton, etc., for the past 15 years.
Areas in coaching have included: Performance Management, Personal & Team Development, Business Strategy Development, Stakeholder Management and Conflict Resolution.
Currently, Victor is a Certified Performance Coach with The International Coaching Federation of America. He is also a lead facilitator/ trainer for the public and in-house Coaching Programmes and Business Strategy in the Malaysian Institute of Management
