Wong Siu Hong graduated with BSc (Hons) in Electronics and Communication Engineering from University Science Malaysia and EMBA from W.P. Carey School of Business, Arizona State University. Wong has over 25 years of management experience in the multinational high-tech corporation in the US and various countries in Asia. His experience spans across diverse industries, including semiconductor, acoustic electronics, cleanroom consumables and satellite-related products.
In his 16 years career in Intel, Wong was posted to Intel Arizona to manage the Strategic Planning group before becoming the General Manager of Intel Philippines. He spent the last ten years of his working career in China, dealing with local government officials and business partners on commercial and regulatory matters.
In his 15 years in the capacity as executive manager, Wong held position as General Managers in MNC, Chief Executive Officer of local Chinese enterprise and his last assignment was Vice-President of the Asia Pacific Operation of a high-tech satellite communications equipment company based in Shanghai.
Wong specializes in strategic space/capacity planning, organization restructuring, drives operation excellence, and value chain management. He is a firm believer in human capital investment and organization learning. His multinational and diverse industrial work experience has given him a unique perspective when resolving issues and working with people from different cultures and backgrounds.
Wong holds several patents from China; he also co-designed the Management Leadership training program. He is currently pursuing a Doctorate in Economics in Universiti Malaya.
