Cheng Jih Min
Cheng Jih Min graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Leicester, United Kingdom in 1995, and a Bachelor of Science (Estate Management) degree from the National University of Singapore in 1988. He is a Certified Professional Business Coach since 2005.
Jih Min is a versatile business leader, strategic problem solver, and change manager, with thirty years’ experience in Mall Management and Development of mixed-use projects. As CEO and General Manager, he has advised many property developers and building owners in Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia, to improve the returns on their real estate portfolio through development, asset enhancement, re-positioning, and restructuring organisations and business models.
His entrepreneurial instincts made him co-found five businesses in Singapore and Malaysia, in Shopping Mall Consultancy, Coaching and Training, Mystery Shopping, Distribution of Beverages, and Ideas Creation. He is presently contributing to Singapore’s start-up ecosystem as an adviser, mentor, co-founder, and CXO to commercialize technology projects.
He is a member of the Singapore Institute of Directors since 2012. He served as Chairman, Office Holder, and Board member, of several commercial and residential management committees in Malaysia. His passion for public speaking and leadership development, made him co-found and become Past President of the Association of Singapore Professional Speakers. He was Toastmasters Club President and Area Governor. He has also co-authored two books.
Jih Min believes in continuous learning. He is currently exploring Block Chain to tokenize property assets, and improving efficiency in building management through the use of Internet-of-Things technology and data analytics.
