Aziz Arshad

Aziz has some 30 years of working experience in diverse industries such as e-commerce, banking and ICT. He possesses an impressive track record in leading companies and completing large-scale projects.

Aziz has worked at CMA Solutions as an Advisor, Commerce dot Com (CTO), Dapat Vista (CEO), Dagang Net Technologies (COO), Bank Islam (Project Director) and Time System Integrators (General Manager).

Currently, Aziz is an Advisor for CMA Solutions, an IT services and software development company specialising in developing solutions for the cooperative industry. As the CTO at Commerce Dot Com, the national service provider for ePerolehan, he was instrumental in getting a new concession and the go-ahead for the development of the next generation eP system. The system went “live” in 2018.

While he was the CEO at Dapat Vista,  the company won the Prime Minister’s Best of the Best Award in the 2009 APICTA Award. He was also the COO at Dagang Net, a pioneer e-commerce company where he led the design, development, installation and Go Live of Malaysia’s first e-commerce service and electronic Customs declarations for imports and exports.

As a project director at Bank Islam, Aziz implemented the Total Integrated Islamic Banking Software project, a first in the world, which went “live” in 2000. Aziz also served as the General Manager at Time System Integrators (TSI), a full-fledged systems integration company providing systems development, integration, support and maintenance. During his tenure at TSI, the company recorded yearly profits with an average annual turnover of RM25 million.

Aziz is equipped with a BSc (Hons) Computing Studies from the University of East Anglia. He’d also attended an Advance Management Program at INSEAD and an Entrepreneurial Development Program at Sloan School of Management, MIT.
