Carol Wong
Carol brings over 30 years of leadership, advisory, and facilitation experience across Asia Pacific, with a career spanning management consulting, corporate transformation, innovation leadership, and governance.
Carol has held senior roles including Partner at Ernst & Young, CEO of Genovasi Malaysia, and Founder & CEO of Innothink Advisory. She currently serves on corporate boards and advisory panels, providing guidance on governance, ESG, and strategic development.
Her background includes leading enterprise-wide transformation, strategic planning, and leadership development programs for listed companies, government-linked institutions, and high-growth organizations. Carol is especially known for her human-centred approach to innovation and organisational change, integrating design thinking and Exponential Organization (ExO) methodologies into leadership and business transformation work.
At Genovasi Malaysia, she established and led the country’s first Design Thinking school, training more than 2,500 professionals and facilitating over 50 real-world industry projects. At Ernst & Young, she guided complex transformation programs, performance management initiatives, and regional practice development, including contributing to EY’s expansion in the Asia Pacific region.
Across all her roles, Carol emphasises humility, shared learning, and the importance of creating safe and reflective spaces where leaders can explore perspectives, challenge assumptions, and strengthen decision-making. She brings this philosophy into her role as a Vistage Chair.
