Danny Hoe is a seasoned corporate leader with over two decades of experience across Asia and beyond, spanning audit, FMCG, agribusiness, and industrial operations. He began his career with Ernst & Young, where he spent 14 years in various roles, including a secondment to New York, and rose to become a Principal in Audit and Advisory Services.

In 2001, he joined Kellogg Asia as Financial and Reporting Manager, where he played a key role in the merger of its Southeast Asia and Greater China businesses. He subsequently embarked on a long association with the Interflour Group, one of Asia Pacific’s largest flour milling conglomerates. As Group CFO, he helped drive a turnaround that resulted in significant gains in volume and market share.

In 2011, he relocated to Vietnam as CEO and Country Head of Interflour Vietnam, leading the company to record-breaking performance in 2013 and 2014. From 2015 to 2018, he served as Executive Director – ASEAN at Pilmico Foods Corporation, tasked with transforming a traditional family-run business into a regional enterprise.

Following a consultancy role with Tradewinds Plantations Berhad on a national grain supply chain project for the Malaysian government, he rejoined Interflour as CEO and Country Head in Turkey, before returning to Malaysia in 2020.

Danny currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director of Kumpulan Fima Berhad (since December 2022) and has held board roles in several other public-listed companies. He is a member of both the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) and the Malaysian Institute of Certified Public Accountants (MICPA), and has completed the Advanced Management Program at INSEAD, France.
