Lew Jin Aun (J.A.)

J.A. Lew is a Master Chair/CEO Coach affiliated with Vistage Malaysia. In this role, he chairs 2 peer-advisory groups – a group of CEOs/business owners from diverse businesses and another group of key executives. He received the Vistage Malaysia Chair Excellence Award for years 2012, 2013, 2016 and 2019 and Master Chair Award in 2018.

As a Master Chair/CEO Coach, he works with CEOs and executives to elevate their performance and that of their organizations. For companies to excel, he emphasizes the importance of exemplary leadership, business transformation, organizational alignment and culture, staff engagement and superior execution. He strongly advocates that CEOs adopt Lean principles, operational excellence and digitalization to maximize business results and continually invest in staff development to meet their talent needs in support of business plans.

Prior to executive coaching, he had a successful 30-year career in the semiconductor industry where he held positions of increasing responsibility in engineering, operations and general management followed by 10 years as Managing Director of two large U.S. multinationals in Malaysia. He received his Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering Honours degree from Universiti Malaya and an Executive MBA with Distinction from University of Bath, UK.

In the non-profit sector, he serves as Chairman of Selangor Human Resources Development Centre, a not-for-profit training organization dedicated to supporting training and talent development needs of industry in Selangor and the central region. He also serves as an independent non-executive director on the Board of a Malaysian public-listed company.
