Having started her auditing career in London, Chin Ting has spent over three decades on building a diverse and impactful career across different industries in Malaysia.

Upon returning from London, she joined a private investment company where she progressed from Accountant to Group Accountant and eventually Deputy General Manager. In these roles, she had managed diverse businesses such as health and beauty product distribution, housing development and manufacturing. Her responsibilities spanned end-to-end operations, financial management, audit, corporate governance and company secretarial duties, showcasing her adaptability and comprehensive skills.

Prior to retirement, she had served as the General Manager of a German multinational precision machine manufacturer. She wasentrusted with establishing their Malaysian subsidiary from the ground up. Over 23 years, she played a pivotal role in guiding theorganisation’s growth and transformation. Today, the company has evolved significantly and is on track to becoming an AsiaCampus. Her leadership was instrumental in this journey since she had overseen financial operations, costing, warehousing,procurement and the integration of systems such as SAP. She had also led the transition towards a paperless operations, reflectingher commitment to innovation and efficiency.

Her expertise extended beyond finance to include treasury management and transfer pricing. She was a driving force behind the German Dual Vocational Training (GDVT) programme implementation, which has successfully nurtured the next generation of skilled talents in Malaysia.

Chin Ting is a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (FCCA) and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants.
