With over 35 years of experience in Branding and Marketing Communication, Rumaizonis a growth strategist and an executive coach. She brings value through her experiencein FMCG to her clients and coachee. She has a natural talent for picking up markettrends, and a passion for converting them into actionable business initiatives. A planner,with strong analytical capability, she has run her own consulting outfit for the past 15years, helping international as well as local brands grow their business.

Rumaizon graduated from University of Colorado at Denver with BA in Sociology, after which she continued with her postgraduate – MA in Applied Social and Market Research from University of Wesminster, London. She served The NSTP group as an business analyst, Her corporate stint brought her to set up the Market Research Dept in Maxis before she joined Unilever, and soon after, Nestle Malaysia.

She left Nestle in 2009, to set up her consulting agency, aimed at bringing international best practices to help localbusinesses grow. One of the most strategic project that she has worked on was with The National Aerospace IndustryCoordinating Office (NAICO) under MITI, where she designed and crafted the communication strategy for Malaysia topromote its aerospace industry to global OEMs. It was through this project, she helped PEMANDU Malaysia to draw upthe National Aerospace Blueprint and helped opened doors for Airbus, RollsRoyce, and Mitsui to set up their business inMalaysia. Her biggest success story is launching the KLIA Aeropolis.

3 times speaker at Malaysia’s most prestigious Marketing Conference – “BrandFest”, Rumaizon is highly sought after for businesses that aim to grow via addressing the Malays – the single largest consumer segment in Malaysia. She has consulted brands like McDonalds, Blackmores, Dettol, Enfagrow, Drypers, L’Occitane, Petronas, FGV, MARA, UMW, are just some of the few.

In consulting businesses and brands, she saw that the single most important factor is having an effective leader that propels the organization growth. Lately, she is deeply involved in coaching the C-Suites to drive business not just for profit sake, but also to create positive impact for people and planet. She champions the concept of “Thriving” – first for self, team and business.
