Simon Soh
Simon Soh has been a Vistage Chair since May 2002. He has won seven Chair Excellence Awards and the lifetime Master Chair Award. He holds an MBA (from Cranfield University, UK), a Graduate Diploma in Marketing (from Royal Chartered Institute of Marketing, UK), a Diploma in Management with Distinction (and Silver Medallist) (from Malaysian Institute of Management), and a Diploma in Production Engineering with Distinction (from Singapore Polytechnic). He is currently pursuing a Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) and Doctoral Degree in Metaphysics. He is also a Certified Knowledge Manager (KMI, USA), Certified NLP Practitioner (NF-NLP USA), and a Certified Professional Trainer (by PSMB, MIM and AWBT Australia).
He started his career as a sales engineer with Cycle and Carriage Bintang Bhd responsible for sales/marketing of Mercedes Benz and Thysen Hanchel specialised vehicles. At the age of 24, he was promoted to Deputy Dealers Manager and rapidly moved up to various senior management positions. He was promoted to become Group Product Manager with Cycle and Carriage Bintang Bhd, and subsequently became Division Director with Malaysian Resort Timesharing Sdn Bhd, Country Manager/Regional Director with Citicorp Services Inc (Citibank/CitiGroup), and Consultant with PA Consulting, Success Motivation International USA, Korn/Ferry Futurestep USA, and Service Quality Institute USA.
At Citicorp Services Inc, he was challenged to GROW the businesses in Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei, and Indochina. He also led his team to win the Best Team Award in Asia Pacific in 1993. His DIVERSITY of working experiences covered sales, customer service, marketing, product management, advertising, dealers management, Government relations, business development, risks management, strategic planning/management, change management, training/HR development, Six Sigma and Total Quality management, total customer service excellence, head hunting/Recruitment, and General Business Management/Performance Management in a VUCA World.
