Stephen Chia

Stephen Chia is a serial entrepreneur having founded, built and exited several successful businesses in the areas of property development, ISP wireless broadband, IT services and blockchain technology. He has successfully completed two phases of gated property development in the Dutamas KL area with gross development value of USD30m. In 2008, he was one of the 4 recipients of the Malaysian 4G/WiMAX spectrum for wireless broadband deployment. The company was subsequently acquired by a public listed company and today is part of the national YES 4G wireless network.

Together with his partner, his technology company Adacode Systems was awarded the APICTA Malaysia “Best of the Best” award & went on to represent the country at the AsiaPacific APICTA hosted by Brunei in 2014. In 2017, he joined a global blockchain organisation as Regional Director SEA and Council Member for its global blockchain Foundation NEM.io. He build Asia’s largest blockchain centre in Kuala Lumpur, and established teams across SEAsia, NorthAsia and Dubai UAE. Today, he continues to be active investor & advisor to several entrepreneurial businesses, most recently in a fintech blockchain company in Cambodia, a logistics software company and a HRDF training service provider in Malaysia.

Stephen holds a BBA & MBA in Operations & International Management from the Lubin School of Business, Pace University New York, USA. He has also been involved for over 24 years in the global Entrepreneurs’ Organisation (EO) as spousal forum member, having served on the EO global spousal forum committee & trained as forum moderator. He is currently a HRDF registered certified trainer who regularly trains and consults for companies on business strategy and coaching, as well as building effective organisational teams and systems.

Stephen’s entrepreneurial and management skills are now being merged with his interest in training and building effective leaders as a certified Vistage Chair and Vistage resource speaker and trainer. He is still an active crypto investor and has keen interest in all things tech.
