Tsien Loong brings over 38 years of strategic and operational leadership to the Vistage community, headlined by his tenure as Group CIO and Executive Director for the Gamuda Group of Companies.

He began his career as a bridge engineer with Arup in London, where he developed a lifelong commitment to structural integrity and integrated systems. Having navigated the complexities of P&L responsibility and corporate governance within a major public-listed conglomerate, he understands the subtleties of large-scale capital projects and the weight of board-level accountability.

Throughout his corporate career, Tsien Loong recognised that sustainable revenue requires more than just robust business models and efficient processes; it is the leader’s ability to scale. He transitioned into the role of Director of Organisation & People Excellence to bridge the gap between business strategy and human performance.

From this vantage point of high-stakes governance, Tsien Loong identifies the “Executive Bottleneck” as the primary limit on a company’s growth. He understands that the bottleneck is rarely a lack of skill, but a limit on the capacity of its leaders. By evolving how leaders think and act, he helps them reduce operational friction and dramatically increase the speed of execution.

As a Vistage Chair, Tsien Loong serves as a pragmatic and provocative thinking partner. He combines the analytical discipline of an Arup-trained engineer with the developmental insight of an ICF-credentialed coach (PCC/ACTC). He helps members navigate the isolation of the C-suite, challenging them to find the “signal in the noise” and build high-autonomy teams that deliver results without constant supervision—closing the gap between where they are and where their ambition demands them to be.
