Yau Su Peng

Yau Su Peng has over 30 years of experience in corporate ventures, payments and banking, brand and consumer marketing and corporate law.

She’d started as a solicitor at Sly & Weigall (or now known as Deacons) in Melbourne, followed by a stint at Business Victoria – the trade and industry agency of the State Government of Victoria.

Thereafter, in Malaysia with the MBF Group, Alliance Banking Group and MasterCard Worldwide where she was the Marketing Director for Malaysia. She then joined Berjaya Corporation where she’d managed operations in retail, F&B, loyalty and digital marketing, payments and e-money operations, big data and education.

Her career’s recurrent theme is managing international franchise brands and for the last decade, digital transformation as well.

In recent years, she has been an active angel investor through She1K, an executive angel syndicate that engages, funds and boards early-stage start-ups.

Su Peng graduated from the University of Melbourne with Bachelor degrees in Law and Arts and thereafter a Masters in Law.
